We are grateful to both our members and other stakeholders for their input.<\/p>\n<p>The strategy clearly envisions a <strong>Wales where everyone has the right to a good home<\/strong> and sets out how we will advance equality, diversity and social justice in housing in Wales.<\/p>\n<p>From the existing and long-standing housing crisis to the deep-seated inequalities uncovered by the pandemic; from issues of race and disability to gender and socio-economics; from supporting cultural change to fostering excellence in diversity: we pledge ourselves anew by continuing our work with members, partners and communities to fundamentally influence decision-making at the highest level and work together to make changes on the ground. Importantly, we want our work underpinned by lived experience \u2013 seeking, listening to, valuing and acting on the knowledge and experience of those directly impacted by inequality and injustice.<\/p>\n<p>Alicja Zalesinska, director of Tai Pawb:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>\u201cTai Pawb is proud of its strong track record in championing equality, diversity and inclusion in Wales, often in co-production with others. But we don\u2019t rest on our laurels \u2013 and we know there is much more to do. The launch of our new strategy sets out clearly what our aims are for the next five years and we\u2019re excited to be working with members and partners to make them a reality\u201d. <\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Chair of Tai Pawb, Craig Stephenson OBE, added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>&#8220;We know that too many people face systemic prejudice, discrimination and disadvantage in accessing suitable and safe housing in Wales &#8211; and we have set out a deliberately challenging and values-based agenda to change that over the next five years.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;Building on our approach to partnership working, our expertise, reputation and strong foundations, we are more determined than ever to create a more inclusive housing sector in Wales&#8221;.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Moreover, we recognise that the dawn of a new strategy is a perfect juncture to look at ourselves, too \u2013 so we\u2019ll be leading by example and ensuring what we\u2019re asking of others is reflected internally.<\/p>\n<p>This is a particularly exciting time for us as we embark on the development of a second phase of our transformational <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taipawb.org\/consultancy\/qed\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>QED Award<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, all\u00a0the while growing our team and partnerships with support from new funders such as the Oak Foundation and Comic Relief.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking forward delivering the best outcomes in the next five years and <strong>shaping, making and being the change.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Tai Pawb <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.taipawb.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Strategy-English.pdf\">Strategy 2021-2026 &#8211; English<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.taipawb.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Strategy-final-Welsh.pdf\">Strategaeth Tai Pawb 2021-2026 &#8211; Cymraeg<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tai Pawb is pleased to announce the publication of Housing for All: shaping, making and being the change, its new five-year strategy to 2026.
