Where has the last 6 months gone?!!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As we reflect on the past 6 months of this financial year, it\u2019s clear at this point that the new membership package is proving very popular with our members! We have seen a huge increase in engagement compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Membership Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Members still have the same access to benefits<\/a>, resources, and discounts applied, but from 1st<\/sup> April 2023 the following 17<\/strong> core events and networks were free<\/strong> to access for all staff working for a member organisation:<\/p>\n

Membership Activity<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following table shows key membership activity over the last six months of the new membership offer.\u00a0 The data is compared to activity data from the same time last year, which demonstrates the positive impact of the new membership package and benefits.<\/p>\n

*In 2022-23 we received a high volume of job advert requests by one organisation, this agreement has been mutually modified to reduce the volume, due to our limited internal resources.\u00a0<\/em><\/h6>\n

We have also found that we are engaging with a wider range of members that historically haven\u2019t engaged with us as much.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As pa<\/span>rt of the renewal process we try and arrange membership catch up meetings, to discuss member benefits and to see in what ways we could be supporting members through <\/span>training<\/a><\/span>, <\/span>consultancy<\/a><\/span> and helpline queries.\u00a0 If you haven\u2019t met with us, get in touch at <\/span>info@taipawb.org<\/span><\/a> and we will book a meeting in.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feedback, Feedback, Feedback<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In order for us to continue to grow and improve, with both the membership offer and the training and services we deliver, we continue to ask our members for feedback.\u00a0 Every month the Pulse survey is sent asking what we could be doing differently and how we can shape our services to meet your needs.\u00a0 We are steadily seeing an increase to responses with this, which is fantastic.\u00a0 We had previously asked what subject members would like us to cover more, and Neurodiversity came out on top of the list.\u00a0 Based on this feedback, we were able to deliver a hugely successful event on 7th<\/sup> November.\u00a0 You asked- we delivered, but we are only able to do this with your input.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We also ask for feedback after all training sessions and events we hold.\u00a0 Based on the feedback we have received in the first 6 months, 89% of delegates said that they would recommend the training to a colleague, and 82% of delegates had high or very high confidence in implementing their learning.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When asked in a recent pulse survey \u201cIs there anything we could differently to make membership better?\u201d, one recipient said “To be honest in think you’re spot on. Great free events and support which makes membership worthwhile. I guess as a sector with your support we need to engage colleagues in our sector who are less involved in EDI”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Going forward and based on feedback we had in September\u2019s Pulse survey, we will look into the possibility of delivering Cultural Awareness\/Engaging with Diverse Communities training.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We continue to adapt and grow with the needs of our members but also in line with social factors and policy updates. An example of this is our recently developed program of Anti-Racism training for both senior leaders and staff, in line with Welsh Government\u2019s Anti Racist Wales Action Plan.
