Melin Homes has become the first social landlord in Wales to achieve \u2018Leader\u2019 status in a prestigious and nationally-recognised equality and diversity mark.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The QED Leaders Award<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a>, developed by Tai Pawb, is the next stage of the original <\/span>QED Award<\/span><\/a>, recognising its role as a leader in the field. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Melin Homes, which manages some 4.500 homes, was the first social landlord in Wales to achieve the then-groundbreaking QED Award in 2017, joined by eight social landlords in the seven years that have followed <\/span>(Merthyr Valleys Homes, Cynon Taf Community Housing, Merthyr Tydfil Housing Association, Cadwyn, Newydd, RHA Wales, First Choice Housing and North Wales Housing Association).<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Awarded by an independent panel, the QED Leaders Award considers areas of the business such as culture and strategy, as well as the experience of customers, colleagues and the wider community.
