Many of you will already be aware that conversations about immigration and housing have become increasingly polarised. Misinformation\u00a0is\u00a0circulating more widely, often the result of incomplete data, a lack of understanding, or deliberate disinformation. These narratives make an already challenging housing landscape even more difficult to navigate.<\/p>\n<p>Our\u00a0<i>Know the Facts: Immigration and Social Housing in Wales<\/i>\u00a0factsheets bring together clear, accessible, and\u00a0accurate\u00a0information to help you respond.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Why we developed these factsheets<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Members have told us they are\u00a0encountering\u00a0rising levels of misinformation in community discussions, online forums, and frontline interactions with tenants and residents.<\/p>\n<p>These factsheets have been created to support people in a wide range of roles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior leadership teams can use them to inform strategic messaging and address misinformation throughout their organisations.<\/li>\n<li>Communications teams can rely on the evidence to challenge incorrect information shared online or in other public spaces.<\/li>\n<li>Frontline staff can use the factsheets to answer questions from tenants with confidence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although facts cannot change every deeply held opinion, they remain a crucial tool for supporting more informed and respectful conversations.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Supporting informed, confident conversations<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>These factsheets are intended for all staff across\u00a0different organisation types.
