{"id":6110,"date":"2018-04-17T09:53:14","date_gmt":"2018-04-17T08:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.taipawb.org\/?post_type=blog&amp;p=6110"},"modified":"2018-04-17T09:53:14","modified_gmt":"2018-04-17T08:53:14","slug":"project-shortlisted-for-24housing-diversity-in-housing-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.taipawb.org\/cy\/news\/2018\/project-shortlisted-for-24housing-diversity-in-housing-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Shortlisted for 24Housing Diversity in Housing Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"lead\">The Open Doors project has been shortlisted for &#8216;Best Diversity Scheme&#8217; at the inaugural 24Housing Diversity in Housing Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Open Doors is a two year Big Lottery funded project managed in partnership by Tai Pawb and the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rla.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"pink\">Residential Landlords Association<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(RLA). It engages and empowers landlords and tenants to reduce issues of inequality and discrimination in the private rented sector.<\/p>\n<p>Starting in August 2017, it works across Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and Merthyr Tydfil, and has already made an impact giving\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">support and advice to<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.8rem;\">\u00a0tenants and landlords.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Project Manager Sarah Vining said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We&#8217;re delighted to have been shortlisted in the first year of our project, and I think it goes to show how much this service was needed.
