There, he worked with individuals and community groups to tackle health and employment inequalities.<\/p>\n<p>Ross studied Social Policy at Swansea University and undertook postgraduate study in Politics and Public Policy at Cardiff University. He has more than ten years\u2019 experience in local government, having been a Town Councillor in Maesteg since 2008 and a County Borough Councillor since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Ross was the (youngest ever) Mayor of Maesteg in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Ross said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m really pleased to be joining Tai Pawb, especially as it\u2019s an organisation with social justice at its core. I\u2019m looking forward to the opportunity of putting my skills to good use, ensuring Tai Pawb is a proactive leader in equality and diversity in the sector.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ross\u2019 role will be key in helping shape and enhance Tai Pawb\u2019s strategic political and policy influence in the sector while continuing to develop our communications and marketing activities.<\/p>\n<p>Tai Pawb\u2019s Director, Alicja Zalesinska, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are delighted to have Ross join the Tai Pawb team.
