\"\"Tai Pawb is delighted to welcome its new Policy & Public Affairs Manager, Ross Thomas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ross joins us from a role as an Account Manager at Cardiff-based public relations agency, Freshwater, where he worked across a wide range of private and public sector clients, providing advice and support on communications, stakeholder engagement and public affairs.<\/p>\n

Prior, Ross spent four years as a Community Development Officer in Caerphilly as part of the Communities First programme. There, he worked with individuals and community groups to tackle health and employment inequalities.<\/p>\n

Ross studied Social Policy at Swansea University and undertook postgraduate study in Politics and Public Policy at Cardiff University. He has more than ten years\u2019 experience in local government, having been a Town Councillor in Maesteg since 2008 and a County Borough Councillor since 2012.<\/p>\n

Ross was the (youngest ever) Mayor of Maesteg in 2013.<\/p>\n

Ross said:<\/p>\n

Ross\u2019 role will be key in helping shape and enhance Tai Pawb\u2019s strategic political and policy influence in the sector while continuing to develop our communications and marketing activities.<\/p>\n
