Job description

One part-time (16.5hrs) Project Worker in a Supported Accommodation Scheme, Hillhouse, Chepstow. You will be required to days, evenings, have weekend and bank holiday availability and sleep-in shifts (£62.64 sleep-In allowance.)

About the role

This is a Project Worker role based in our Supported Accommodation Scheme, Hill House, Chepstow. We have a team of Lead Project Workers, Project Workers and Accommodation Coordinator providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of customers.

Working in a team you will provide support to young people experiencing homelessness, alongside complex needs such as alcohol/substance misuse, mental health and offending behaviour. With the aim to provide a housing solution, which involves offering housing related support to assist the service users to gain independence & move into their own tenancy.

Skills and Experience Needed

Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.

For the role it is essential to hold a UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle.

A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations
