A fluent Welsh speaker, Dai has worked in the public sector in Wales, in local government and freelance, for over 40 years and is a now freelance consultant on Equalities and Welsh language issues, covering policy support, development, monitoring and reporting especially in terms of general Equalities and Welsh Language awareness and undertaking impact assessments.

He has a BA in Public Management and an MSc in Equality and Diversity from Cardiff University and is a qualified, basic member of the Welsh Translators Association. He has experience on a practical level of linking housing and landlord/tenant issues with the Equalities agenda, through Equality Health Checks and developing guidance documents, and brings this experience to Tai Pawb as an Associate.

Dai has been a Board member of Menter Caerffili since 2000 and is also a Community Governor at Ysgol Gyfun Llangynwyd. In his spare time Dai is a fan of sci-fi and fantasy books, tv and films.
