Equality Impact Assessments are a process which allows organisations to consider relevant evidence to understand the likely or actual effect of policies, practices and decisions on people across the protected characteristics.
The first part of this training session will explain what an Equality Impact Assessment is, why they are useful, and the different stages involved, including practical activities. During the second part, delegates will be supported to apply what they have learned to relevant policy, to embed learning.
The usual format of this training is one full day, run over two half-day sessions. These two sessions can happen on the same day or on two different days. Get in touch to discuss options!
