Amanda joined the Housing Sector in Wales in 2014, after working in local government, the private, voluntary, and independent sectors. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Amanda said, ‘I am really pleased to be the new Chair of the Network, and look forward to working with everyone. My current role is Director of Organisational Development at Bron Afon, based in Cwmbran. I am passionate about the role of social housing in improving people’s quality of life and life chances. At Bron Afon together with the user group, we’ve developed a strategic approach to Equalities which was launched earlier this year, with staff and tenants making personal pledges. We’ve got some big challenges ahead with Welfare Reform and housing demand, but with the right foundations we will be well placed to tackle them and aspire high, aiming for the best for each and every individual in our community. Together we are stronger and networks have a vital role in helping to bring us together.’

Tai Pawb is looking forward to working with Amanda through this new era of the network.
