Tai Pawb has launched a Brand New Toolkit to assist housing organisations in undertaking equality impact assessments.
The toolkit has been produced to give guidance on a process which many housing organisations have found to be challenging. Tai Pawb used feedback from housing providers to devise a toolkit which uses a step-by-step process to create a simplified approach which will still enable organisations to fully understand the impact of their decisions on diverse individuals and communities and improve practice.
The toolkit is also complemented by a second publication What is an Equality Impact Assessment 2016, which aims to help staff understand the need for and role of equality impact assessments in their organisation. The toolkit also includes a sample equality impact assessment form.
