This Autumn, Welsh Government will launch the next phase of its Welsh Housing Quality Standards framework - tasking housing providers with upgrading homes across a range of features.

Hosted jointly by Tai Pawb & TPAS Cymru, we are delighted that this Policy & Practice session will feature the launch of 'FLOORED: Three years on - A Practice Compendium', on provision of flooring in social housing.

The compendium builds on our joint FLOORED report, which urged social landlords to address a lack of flooring in new-lets, highlighting widespread impacts on tenants. FLOORED: Three years on provides extensive good practice, advice and case studies from landlords based on our research and engagement in the sector. It will help organisations prepare for the new flooring-related elements of WHQS23.

The session will also explore how accessibility and cultural adequacy can be considered in retrofit

Join us to hear from Welsh Government, Tai Pawb, TPAS Cymru and other speakers highlighting existing good practice to help implement the new standards.

Watch Elizabeth from TPAS Cymru and Alicja from Tai Pawb explain 'FLOORED, 3 Years On' in the video below:
