Housing experiences of ethnic minority tenants
As part of the Anti Racist Wales Action Plan, Welsh Government set a goal to ensure that housing standards, provision and services advance race equality, embed anti-racism, and meet the diverse needs of ethnic minority people. In delivering on this goal, it is crucial that the lived experiences of housing in Wales of people from ethnic minority communities are captured to help shape and reflect on policy and practice.
This meeting will see the launch of a report into the Housing Experiences of ethnic minority tenants, co-produced by EYST and Tai Pawb, with support from Welsh Government and Oak Foundation. The report is a result of engagement with over 100 ethnic minority tenants across Wales. The meeting will provide an opportunity to:
- Learn from the report and explore its recommendations
- Hear from the Deeds not Words Panel
- Explore good practice in provision of housing/housing services
