Contractor Toolbox Talk: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Our contractor toolbox talk briefing has been specifically designed as a quick introductory session for contractors and maintenance staff on equality, diversity and inclusion. It aims to give contractors an understanding of their organisation’s and their own legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010.

The session will also explore and raise awareness of the impact of stereotyping and prejudice in relation to protected characteristics. As customer facting staff who deliver services in people’s homes the session will give tips on communication, making appointments, treating individuals with respect and things to think about when carrying out maintenance work in a person’s home. This session is particularly beneficial for contractors working for organisations that provide a tailored approach to services.
