Disability at local authority and MSOA level

 

ONS has issued a useful interactive maps where you can check numbers and proportions of diverse groups by Local Authority areas and smaller areas called MSOA’s. The map is a useful tool and you can use it below.

In 2021, 22% of people reported being disabled under the Equality Act 2010 (compared to 23% in 2011)

Census questions ask respondents whether their day-to-day activities were limited a little or a lot in connection with disability. There were no major changes in how disability is broken down between 2011 and 2021.
